Open Church

»The church must be open to everybody, not only on Sunday mornings. The Protestant Stiftskirche is open every day: for those in need of peace, who are interested in cultureal events, or who are just curious, or whatever attracts people to the church: they are sincerely welcome!«

Access to the church is always accompanied by a contact person on site, usually by a church caretaker, as these volunteers call themselves. There is always someone here to lend you an ear, and apart from that these people have a lot of in-depth information they can tell you about the Stiftskirche.

At the entrance between the Marktstrasse and the Stiftsplatz the Stiftskirche is open to everybody throughout the year at the times indicated below:

The Stiftskirche is also open at other times than those mentioned, depending on the activities of our verger, Mrs. Teske. The church doors are of course open to you for all services of the Stiftskirche congregation.
